Exhale has a very low staff turnover... the staff love working there and Exhale loves retaining them so most of them have been part of the process for years.

Most girls go straight out of beauty school into work. The founders of Exhale came from a time when there were just a few students in a beauty class, now beauty schools can cram 30 students into a class. When Exhale has recruited somebody who has come from a Beauty School, the first thing they tell them is to forget everything they ‘think’ they know and then they teach them the Exhale way of doing things.

The founders of Exhale started in beauty because they wanted to help people. They pass on that old school knowledge to their staff as part of the Exhale learning curve. It’s like someone coming out of cooking school and then going to work under a head chef, who takes the basic skills they have learnt and teaches them real mastery of the job. This knowledge can only be passed on from someone who has had years of on the
job experience.
